For almost twenty years I have focused on a creative alternative to mass produced water features. All designs start as paintings or pen drawings and reflect elements of West Australian lifestyle and culture, time being the linking theme. Each piece is individually created and metal ingot signed as proof of authenticity. Inlay designs are limited to less than 50 pieces.
As pieces are often subject to extreme fluctuations in temperature, concrete was not an option and so a reinforced granite panel was developed. Continual development and refinement has resulted in designs that are creative and truly original.
Panel size is 1500mm x 250mm with the thickness of approximately 75mm including mounting frame and a weight of 35kg. To simplify installation and eliminate waterproofing issues panels are mounted to galvanised frames and hung as a picture on a fixing bracket. Water is carried only on the surface minimising water loss and controlling flow and efficiency, typically 3 linked panel only require a 20 watt pump. Coloured inlay/ insert panels carry water behind inlays avoiding splash and minimising deposit buildup.
Copper dispersion tubes spread water evenly across the full panel providing a full wall of water and the creative visual links between panel designs allow use of multiple panels or sets.
The simplicity of installation makes these panels ideal for DIY.
